When Danae and I met up last Thursday to do our shoot, I couldn't believe my eyes when I pulled up next to her car. I looked over and saw a sea of long pastel green hair! Danae is a fashion and makeup blogger. We've known each other for several years having been coworkers at my last job. We've kept in touch since then and have done photo shoots together on several occasions. It's been really cool seeing the progression in her style choices as well as her comfortability behind the camera. Similarly, my skills as a portrait photographer have increased drastically since our first shoot. For this shoot, we decided to meet at Boyd Park in New Brunswick which runs along the Raritan River. I had never been there before but when I arrived, I knew this would be a great place to shoot with lots of awesome backdrops and cool colors and textures.
